Travelling to Melaka during COVID-19 and PKPP
On the weekend, my friends and i decide to went to Melaka for a 2 days and one night trip. We planned it since Jun (when is was in PKPB) and finally its happening. Thank god, its happen cause we all got strict parent and online classes. 13 of us, all girls when to Melaka by car. Three car hahha cause we wanna a comfartable space along the journey. Meet up at Ain's house and by 9 we went straight to Melaka, the traffic was no bad at all because by 10 we already arrived at Plaza Tol Ayer Keroh. Went to Bandar Melaka and boom, the traffic was so meh and we lost hahaha. so we went straight to Cendol Kampung Hulu. Guys, Cendol Kampung Hulu is not your neighbour cendol. they use the ice like the bingsoo's one. Not like normal ice and its taste superb. I gave it 8.8 out of 9.
Then, we went straight to A Famosa. Guys, its 1.00 PM and the matahari was like tegak on the head its so hot. AND THERES A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE AND ITS SO HARD FOR US TO TAKE A PICTURE OF OURSELVES. BUT WE MANAGED TO GET A FEW AND YAS THANKS TO THE STRANGER. We do wear our mask and hand sanitizer is a must! Covid-19 is still out there so be careful.
After that, we went straight to our homestay in Selat Horizon Klebang. We found it on Airbnb. one night for 412 but for 13 people its only 26 per head. Its so minimalist and so cantik. Got 4 rooms and the living hall is hugeeee, but the kitchen kinda small so 13 of us in kitchen was not a good option.
We do eat asam pedas but homemade ones by one of my friend aunt. So at night, we planned to go to Jonker Walks but got new Covid19 Cluster so we decide not to get infected. So literally chilling out netflix but the internet is so meh and finally going to Uptown Klebang. WEH THIS ONE TO GOT SO MANY PEOPLE AND SOLD MASK AT MARKUP PRICE. but my friend just bought it anyways cause we afraid of COVID 19. We play bicycle and snapped a picture.
Then, in the morning, we supposedly eat at Roti Canai Kayu Arang but panjang dia punya beratur tu taknak kalah ye. so we just decide at eat at any random kedai around Klebang. Went back to the homestay and chilling, packing up things and checking out.
We went to Kuih Keria Antarabangsa (its so sedap, lembut and tak manis!!!) 10/10 and it took us 1 hours to buy 90 bijis kuih keria because the line is hella panjang but we survived huhu. After that, we went to the Sungai Putat to get some famous beverages Mango Float 8/10 and Nasi Ayam Kunyit 5/10. Their kuih denderam or telinga keling also crunchy and small and its only 0.10 per piece but i give that 5/10. So finally we went back home and the traffic was okay lah because people from Melaka want to naik KL kan, its was okay and fine.
So overall, travelling during COVID-19 is not that dangerous but always be careful and wear a mask and hand sanitizer ti everywhere cause we dont know that stranger might be a pembawa. So careful and have fun!
